Dutchess County Fire Instructors Truck Company OPS Spring 2026 Instructors-Lacalamita,Shultz, Schmidt, Meyerson,Calamari, Harris, Hildwein, Kelley& Howell. Very busy class students were trained on skills to advance their firefighting abilities. Every skill night Forcible entry & VES where the main topics still complete searching flat roof, ventilation,metal cutting & through the lock, etc. Some students came an hour or two early just to practice. That shows heart. There is quite a few times I tell I’ll be there early. Just show up if you want to practice. This class I had many students show up early that meant a lot to my self and other instructors. This skills are perishable. If you don’t practice them, you are gonna lose them. It is not like riding a bike. Do good and stay humble
