Thank you to the NATO Association of Canada for a wonderful evening of discussion and engagement at their 2026 St Laurent Award Gala reception, with discussions led by Murray Brewster. It was an honour to be recognized alongside Blake Goldring, C.M., O.Ont., CFA, Blake Hutcheson, and Ms Rose M Patten. Congratulations also to Jake Rooke as the recipient of the Alumni Trailblazer Award. Fostering discussion in our country on the importance of resilience, the need for whole of nation engagement, and the importance of like-minded allies is critical. From individuals to communities, business to governments, everyone needs to have a voice and be part of ensuring Canada's defence and security. It was also an occasion to re-connect with the leadership team from HMCS York, and their HCapt Dr. Rhonda M. McEwen who do great work not only in building Reserve capabilities, but also in connecting with the Toronto community. BZ to you all. Photo credits @nickwons
