FRAMATOME BUSY WEEK WITH POWERFUL CONVERSATIONS ON FUEL SUPPLY CHALLENGES   What a week for us at the World Nuclear Fuel Cycle (WNFC) organized by the WNA in Monaco last week !   Lionel GAIFFE, Senior Executive Vice President Fuel Business Unit at Framatome, opened the WNFC by addressing one of today’s most critical topics: energy sovereignty and fuel supply security. Then through an exclusive interview, he shared Framatome’s ambition to scale up its capacities to meet growing demand, prevent potential blackouts, and reaffirm the merit of nuclear energy: low‑carbon, stable, and reliable. 👉 Watch his interview : https://lnkd.in/d4vHh9j9 The conversation continued with Robert Freeman, Chief Growth Officer of Nuclear Fuels, who brought a U.S. perspective on the challenges and solutions across conversion, enrichment, and fuel fabrication. The week concluded with Framatome’s Romans‑sur‑Isère site which welcomed a few fortunate WNFC participants, offering them a behind‑the‑scenes look at where fuel assemblies are produced for 85 nuclear power plants and 50 research reactors worldwide.
