We are set to revolutionize powdered milk production in Algeria alongside our partners Bimotor S.p.A. and Avoni Industrial, together with GREEN POWER - Generators, by powering the irrigation systems behind the world’s largest dairy facility – part of one of North Africa’s largest agro-industrial projects. Spanning 117,000 hectares of desert agricultural land dedicated to feeding 270,000 dairy cows, this landmark initiative is part of a project expected to cover approximately 50% of Algeria’s national milk powder demand, marking a major step toward self-sufficiency. At the core of the project is a continuous irrigation system designed to cultivate Saharan land, transforming desert landscapes into productive farmland. In this critical operation, 50 GP330 S/I-A generator sets, supplied by Green Power Systems and powered by FPT CURSOR 13 engines, play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted performance.
