Chambers Spotlight – James Hill KC James although he is more commonly known as Jamie, has spent most of his career at Fountain Chambers and is widely recognised as a Silk of choice for both Prosecution and Defence in serious and complex Criminal law cases.    Jamie also has experience in complex Public Law Family cases, acting for local authorities, parents and extended family members. He has extensive experience in matters including murder, manslaughter, sexual offences, kidnap, rape and fraud, and is frequently at the centre of high-profile cases across the North Eastern Circuit. He has particular expertise in medical and scientific issues, including non-accidental head injuries on babies. Jamie advises on regulatory matters and has acted in several major Health and Safety cases and he has also acted in disciplinary proceedings for Police Officers.
