๐ŸŒŸ Meet the Speaker: Nikolas Pyrgiotis ๐ŸŒŸ Weโ€™re delighted to welcome Nikolas Pyrgiotis, SVP Technology Ventures at Signal, to Startup Session #13 for a practical, grounded session on one of the most important questions founders face today: what actually makes a startup fundable in the AI era? Nikolas leads Signal Ventures, where he oversees investments, M&A, and strategic partnerships across a diversified technology group in ocean-going shipping. His work sits at the intersection of technology, capital, and real-world industry, giving him a unique perspective on how ventures are built, evaluated, and scaled in todayโ€™s rapidly evolving landscape. His career spans strategy, investment, and entrepreneurship. As a former Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co, Nikolas worked within the New Ventures unit, supporting a portfolio of 40 startups and scale-ups. As a strategy consultant, he advised C-suite leaders across transportation, travel, and logistics sectors globally, developing a deep understanding of how large, complex industries operate and evolve. Nikolas is also a founder himself, having co-founded a software company in air transportation and led a maritime startup incubated by McKinsey. Alongside this, he holds a PhD from MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. At Startup Session #13, Nikolas will lead a live, interactive conversation exploring how the venture landscape is shifting and what it now takes to build something that truly stands out. ๐Ÿ“ 1 Warwick by Maslowโ€™s ๐Ÿ—“ Tuesday 28th April 2026 ๐Ÿ•• Doors: 6:15 PM | Session: 6:45โ€“8:15 PM | Networking from 8:15 PM With thanks to our founding partner, Signal, for making this event possible. โฌ‡๏ธ Sign up via the link below https://lnkd.in/eWk29fzh
