🌱 Net Positive Panchayats Launch Strategic Plantation Drive for a Greener Goa Under the Net Positive Panchayat (NPP) Initiative, a strategic plantation drive is being conducted across Goa from 5 June to 5 October, bringing together Panchayats, government departments, SHGs, and community members to strengthen biodiversity and climate resilience. 📍 Calangute Panchayat mobilised more than 100 community members to plant over 100 trees, coupled with seed distribution and awareness activities to promote biodiversity conservation 📍 Harvalem Panchayat engaged 35 stakeholders to develop a sustainable plantation plan and planted over 50 indigenous trees through active community participation, alongside a month-long cleanliness drive led by local youth.
