At 15, F4SC Ambassador Gemma Wang started visiting assisted living facilities to play piano. Through these visits, she witnessed songs unlock memories, memories spark conversations, and conversations create a sense of belonging across generations. Those experiences inspired her to found The Melody Project 501(c)(3), a youth-led nonprofit that has brought together more than 500 older adults and young people through music, conversation, and creative activities.
