Today we celebrate World Environment Day by reminding ourselves that the energy transition is not just about generating clean energy, but about doing so responsibly, while protecting natural resources, biodiversity, and the communities where we operate. At FRV, we are working to promote a more sustainable and resilient energy model through the development of renewable energy and storage projects that contribute to global decarbonization. In 2025, our renewable energy generation prevented approximately 1.94 million metric tons of CO₂ equivalent, contributing significantly to the fight against climate change. Our commitment to the environment goes beyond reducing emissions. We continue to strengthen biodiversity protection through initiatives such as the conservation of endangered species, habitat restoration, the installation of wildlife crossings, and the development of agrivoltaic solutions. In 2025, more than 9,600 sheep helped with natural vegetation control at our solar plants, promoting biodiversity and reducing the environmental impact of operations. We also continue to make progress in the responsible use of resources. Notable is the 48% reduction in water consumption in water-stressed areas compared to the previous year, reinforcing our commitment to more efficient and sustainable management of this essential resource. Protecting the planet requires innovation, collaboration, and ongoing action. At FRV, we will continue to develop energy solutions that create value for society, contribute to the energy transition, and help build a more sustainable future for future generations.
