Tom Szamek, a member of the ForGood.Tech team, has been part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets for 8 years, with the last 4 spent volunteering as an instructor 👏 At ForGood.Tech, we always support our team in giving back through volunteering - and Tom is a great example of the impact that can have. Twice a week, he leads training at his local unit across a range of areas including leadership, first aid and cyber communications, while also taking responsibility for the safeguarding and welfare of cadets. Alongside this, Tom supports training across Staffordshire, the wider West Midlands, and Wales - even contributing to national-level events. He also volunteers with the Immersive Technologies team to run demos at national shows, showcasing how new technology is being used to support cadet training. And somehow, that’s still only part of the story - from being a comms specialist to a first aid instructor, there’s a huge amount that goes into what he does.
