As part of the structuring of our REDD+ Project in Meta, we officially delivered an institutional stove to the boarding school of the Rubiales Educational Institution. What does school supplies have to do with protecting ecosystems?Ā Everything! This action embodies our social co-benefits and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals: šššš¬ š šš§š š - ššš«šØ šš®š§š šš« šš§š ššØšØš šššš„šš”: We guarantee nutritious food for the students and improve the working conditions of the women in charge of the cafeteria. ššš š - šš®šš„š¢šš² ššš®šššš¢šØš§: We strengthen the infrastructure of the rural boarding school to ensure the well-being of the children, encourage them to stay in school, and reduce school dropout rates. In REDD+ projects, when communities meet their basic needs, they become the best allies for the conservation of the land.
