The Renters’ Rights Act is coming into force on 1 May. Are you prepared? This is one of the biggest changes to the private rented sector in years. It will reshape how landlords manage tenancies, recover possession and approach rent reviews. From the abolition of section 21, to all tenancies becoming periodic and stricter rules around rent increases, the new regime places greater emphasis on process, evidence and compliance. There are also new requirements around ombudsman registration, record keeping and tenant rights – all of which will play a key role in how landlords operate going forward. The law is changing. Now is the time to review your approach, reduce risk and plan ahead with confidence. Get in touch to make sure you’re ready for 1st May. #PropertyLaw #Landlords #RentersReform #RentersRightsAct Amanda Leach Georgina Kenny
