Action on methane emissions is one of the most effective steps the food sector can take to mitigate climate change💚 A new project funded by the GUDP gathers industry leaders towards the common goal of reducing total emissions from livestock barns and slurry containers. The project parties are aiming for a cost-effective technological solution utilising biofilters containing methane-eating bacteria. The technology is expected to lower methane- emissions from dairy cows and pigs for up to 20%.
