𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. On 18 June 2026, FIA members gathered at Unilever Indonesia's office for the 5th FIA Members in Indonesia Bi-Monthly Coordination Meeting. The meeting reinforced FIA as a platform for Indonesian members to align priorities, share insights and coordinate engagement on the country's evolving food, health and packaging policy agenda. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀: 🔸 The FIA Secretariat shared updates on engagement with the Ministry of Health and BPOM, providing members with the latest developments and opportunities for continued dialogue. 🔸 Members discussed ongoing work on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and packaging circularity. The FIA Secretariat also shared updates on upcoming FIA events in Jakarta that will bring together government, academia and industry to advance dialogue on Health & Nutrition, as well as EPR and the circular economy. The meeting concluded with members aligned on next steps to strengthen industry positions, support coordinated engagement with policymakers and identify opportunities to share good practices that can contribute to science-based policymaking.
