LinkedIn being what it is, we've mainly covered Industry and Policy Day of #SEQFoodSummit here... but it wouldn't be what it is without People's Day to kick it all off. In 2024, People's Day ran as more of a market/small festival, with a couple of hands-on sustainability workshops and a few listening posts to share ideas... but based on community feedback and eagerness to get into the nitty gritty, this year it's getting the full Summit treatment. In 2 weeks, Food Connect Shed's doors will open for Your Food Your Future. It's a free community workshop, open to all but especially dedicated to the people who'll live with the consequences of our food system the longest - the next generation. Hosted by the wonderful Morag Gamble, it'll provide hope, a bit of fire, and the opportunity to have your voice heard by industry and policymakers in the following days.
