Last week, we were joined by some of NYC’s most community-minded leaders at Closing the Gap: Food Access & Affordability in NY. In partnership with City & State and Instacart, this impactful event advanced the conversation around ensuring all New Yorkers have access to affordable, nutritious food.   We were honored to be joined by members of the NYC Council including Speaker Julie Menin for a keynote address and Darlene Mealy, Chair of the Subcommittee on Senior Centers and Food Security. A special thank you to Council Members Eric Dinowitz, and Farah Louis for joining us and supporting this critical dialogue. As we navigate the city budget cycle, we also recognize their ongoing commitment as strong advocates for public investments and policies that help address food insecurity and support food-insecure New Yorkers across New York City.   As families across our city continue to face rising costs and food insecurity, your engagement and commitment to these issues are deeply appreciated.
