ART FOR THE OCEAN - Artiste en résidence 🇯🇵 En avril dernier, l’artiste et designer Isabelle Daëron a pû se joindre à une navigation entre Tokyo et Onomichi, au large du Japon. Focus sur cette micro-résidence unique en partenariat avec la Villa Kujoyama. La Villa Kujoyama est un établissement artistique du réseau de coopération culturelle du Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères. Relevant de l’Institut français du Japon, elle agit en coordination avec l’Institut français et bénéficie du soutien de la Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, qui en est le mécène principal 💧Un moment d’échanges avec l’équipage, d’immersion et de création qui a nourri son projet autour des eaux souterraines. Villa Kujoyama ヴィラ九条山 Institut français du Japon / アンスティチュ・フランセ Institut français Fondation Bettencourt Schueller Studio Idaë ----- 🇯🇵 Last April, artist and designer Isabelle Daëron was able to take part in a voyage between Tokyo and Onomichi, off the coast of Japan. Here we take a closer look at this unique micro-residency in partnership with Villa Kujoyama. Villa Kujoyama is an arts organisation within the cultural cooperation network of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Operating under the auspices of the Institut français du Japon, it works in coordination with the Institut français and receives support from the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation, which is its main patron. 💧It was a time of exchange with the crew, immersion and creativity that fuelled her project centred on groundwater. You can see her work in the exhibition “Chikasui 地下水” running from 26 June to 13 September at the Institut français in Tokyo.
