What makes a watch truly collectible? In Geneva, our Vice President Pascal O. Ravessoud joined the INSEAD Alumni Association Switzerland Women in Business Club to answer exactly that question, no expertise required, only curiosity. "Entering the Gentle(Wo)men's Club: Discovering Haute Horlogerie Collecting" brought together perspectives rarely found around the same table: Giulio De Lucia of Antiquorum and CEO of FIDES Holding, and moderator Ekaterina Marcheti of Audemars Piguet, bridging the Maison view with the collector's eye. Long perceived as a closed circle for a happy few, collecting is in reality a world of craftsmanship, culture, emotion and sometimes investment. From how a specialist reads a watch in seconds, to how estimates and reserves come to life behind the auction hammer, the conversation opened doors that too often stay shut, and the room proved that curiosity alone is enough to walk through them. Mechanical watchmaking is recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. Sharing its codes with new audiences is precisely what the FHH - Fondation Haute Horlogerie exists for. Thank you to the INSEAD Alumni Association Switzerland and to Andrea A. Ullmann for the invitation, and to a room full of sharp questions. #watchmaking #FHH #watchcollecting #luxurywatches Aurélie Streit, Clio Godrèche, Emmanuel Schneider, Valentine Gautier, Sarah Duneton Faigaux, Lucas Rochas, Kilyan SALHI DANIELE, Sophien Salah, Anastasia Matthey, Lorenzo Maillard, Maxime Couturier, Raphael Hatem, Julien Baudet, Patrick Monnin, Magali Vionnet, Hideo Kubota, Vincent Robert, Olivier Talon, Beatrice Qiu, Gianfranco Ritschel, Joanna Lange, Pierre Christe, Julien Gandolfi, Paola Lena, Issa Sulaiman, Hermelitta Cheung, Stéphane Schuler, Heekyung Jung, Ernestina Ma, Ugo Pancani, Michael Dubs, Kitty Kano, Arno Sebille, Ivana Bogeski, PianPian Peng, Rudolf Plüer
