🌍To mark International Albinism Awareness Day, the Fondation Pierre Fabre reaffirms its commitment to supporting people with albinism. In this street interview filmed in the streets of Abidjan, several people share their beliefs and questions about albinism. Between preconceived notions, a lack of information, and messages of acceptance and inclusion, this video highlights the diversity of perspectives on people with albinism. Albinism is a genetic condition characterised by a lack of melanin in the skin, hair and/or eyes. This lack of melanin leads to extreme sensitivity to sunlight and severe visual impairments.
