Alia Bengana et Paul Maheke, lauréats de la Bourse de production Villa Médicis x Fondation Louis Roederer Depuis 2023, dans le cadre du partenariat entre la Fondation Louis Roederer et l’Académie de France à Rome - Villa Médicis, deux Bourses de production ont été créées et visent à soutenir deux projets de co-production : un projet artistique et un projet de recherche, initiés par les pensionnaires dans le cadre de leur résidence. Alia Bengana, architecte algérienne, est soutenue pour son projet d’ouvrage, « Simplicités. Enquêtes constructives » explorant les détails d’architecture pour raconter nos manières de choisir les ressources, de construire et d’habiter. Paul Maheke, artiste français, est soutenu pour sa performance « The Origin of Death » produite en collaboration avec les musiciens Candide et Adrian Barstad Andresen. Elle explore différentes formes d'interconnexion, approfondissant la réflexion de l'artiste sur le dialogue entre le son et l'identité. -- Alia Bengana and Paul Maheke, winners of the Villa Medici x Louis Roederer Foundation production grant Since 2023, as part of the partnership between the Louis Roederer Foundation and the Académie de France à Rome - Villa Médicis, two production grants have been established to support two co-production projects: an artistic project and a research project, initiated by the residents during their residency.
