Great discussion at our roundtable bringing together leaders across sustainability, digital health and life sciences. Curzema, led by Jai Uniyal, shared how innovative sustainability solutions are being deployed across industrial applications; True Sydney, under Eric Stephens, highlighted how they’re driving digital growth for health science innovators; Andrew Sargeant, Director of CXDX Connected Diagnostics, discussed advanced diagnostics and imaging solutions that are improving patient care; and Brad Walsh from BioNSW outlined how BioNSW continues to lead industry engagement and innovation across NSW’s life sciences sector. We finished the session with a site visit to Westmead Hospital and the Cicada Innovations HealthTech Hub, located within the Westmead Health and Innovation District. Opened in March 2024, the hub supports health and MedTech companies through incubation, commercialisation support, training resources and collaborative spaces, and is closely connected to Westmead’s strengths in medical research, cell and gene therapies, precision medicine, devices and assistive technologies. Our Ontario delegates also took part in curated B2B meetings across Melbourne and Sydney.
