FMC’s Jinshan manufacturing site was recently recognized by the Shanghai municipal government for its exceptional environmental management performance, earning a Grade A from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.  Grades are assigned following a comprehensive evaluation in which government reviewers conduct field inspections and review site documents and operational data to assess environmental performance indicators across the entire operation– including equipment and processes, clean energy use, emissions and pollution controls, monitoring systems, management practices, and transportation. Strong results demonstrate not only regulatory compliance, but also how effectively a facility anticipates and manages environmental risks while driving continuous improvement. Earning a Grade A positions Jinshan as a leader in environmental management and a role model for other companies in the industry. It also reinforces our commitment to environmental responsibility and advancing sustainable manufacturing practices across our operations.
