Captain Colin Jordaan (FRAeS) is a hard working, well-respected individual that has reached the top positions, in a few different organisations. He currently sits on the Board of Comair Limited. Previously he was the Director of the SA Civil Aviation Authority. Prior to that post, he was the General Manager of Flight Operations at South African Airways. He was also a member of the Executive Committee, the first and only pilot to hold this position. This conversation gave a lot of insight into how legacy international airlines use a seniority system to manage pilot placements. Colin also shared insight into maintaining international accreditation for the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
