It requires deep collaboration across the entire value chain — from material science and technology development to industrial deployment, regulation, and end-use applications. The OST Coffee Lectures – Advanced Recycling Technologies is a unique and critical collaboration platform for us in Switzerland. Advanced recycling is a strategic lever for supply security, circular material flows, and climate-neutral value creation, particularly for plastics-intensive industries. Making plastics fully circular in Switzerland by 2050 will depend on how effectively we: - Bridge research and industrial reality - Translate advanced recycling innovations into scalable, market-ready solutions - Enable high-performance applications using recycled feedstocks - Address commercialization, infrastructure, and policy challenges across the ecosystem Experience exchange, honest and technically grounded discussion on what works, what doesn’t, and what must change — I strongly encourage anyone working in materials, chemicals, manufacturing, sustainability, innovation, or policy to join the conversation.
