Two Icons, One Mission: Shaping the Future of Food in Parma There really is a unique energy that occurs when two industry icons decide to innovate together. And last week, I had the immense pride of experiencing this first hand while representing Bizerba at the Barilla Group Good Food Makers Innovation Day. Standing in the heart of Italy's "Food Valley," it quickly became clear to me that we, Bizerba and Barilla, share more than just this project; we share a passion, a soul, a relentless obsession with quality and a way of doing things right. Being Barilla's strategic partner in the "New Frontiers of Detection" challenge was a moment of deep professional pride. Over the last few months, we didn't just discuss food inspection technology; we lived it. By integrating Bizerba’s 160 years of experience in labeling, weighing and inspection in the food industry with Barilla’s visionary leadership and production expertise, we have identified a new inspection technology and potentially laid the groundwork for the next generation of food safety. This journey was only made possible by the incredible spirit of "vera collaborazione" from the Barilla team. A heartfelt thank you to Cristiana Zerbinati and Marco Benna for the amazing collaboration, for your trust, and your expertise and to Claudia B. and Giuseppe Alampi for the organization of this program, for your guidance and for welcoming Bizerba so warmly into your innovation ecosystem. You have shown that your dedication to excellence is what makes Barilla a world leader, and it has been a privilege to work alongside you!
