Industrial Security @ Campus Schwarzwald

Our consortium has submitted the PQCUA (Post-Quantum Cryptography for OPC UA) proposal to the Horizon Europe 2025 call on Integration of PQC algorithms in high-level protocols. The goal: make OPC UA ready for the quantum era. The project focuses on integrating Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) into the open-source Safe & Secure OPC (S2OPC) and open62541 stacks, and developing (hybrid) cryptographic profiles to keep industrial systems and critical infrastructures secure once quantum computers become a real-world threat. The team includes: 🇩🇪 Campus Schwarzwald 🇫🇷 Systerel 🇩🇪 Fraunhofer IOSB 🇫🇷 Thales 🇩🇪 achelos GmbH 🇩🇪 Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt 🇨🇭 HSLU Hochschule Luzern Additional engagement from Keyfactor , NXP Semiconductors and STMicroelectronics helps connect research with secure hardware, PKI, and deployment in real environments. OPC Foundation, GIMELEC, and the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) supported us with letters of intent. Next step: Waiting ;) Thanks to: Vincent L., Jérémie Barjhoux, Vincent P., Pascal Birnstill, Paul-Georg Wagner, David Meier, Christian Haas, Olivier Gilles, Daniel Garcia Perez, Gavin V., Dominik I., Michael Jahnich, Jan Pelzl, Christian Schwinne, Nino Ricchizzi, Guillaume Crinon, Malin Ridelius
