Our CEO, Matthijs Guichelaar, recently joined the Australian Energy Week panel discussion: “Can AI and data really make energy customers love us?” One of the key points Matthijs shared was that while energy is essential, it's rarely top of mind for customers. What matters most is simple: a fair price, an accurate bill, and confidence that they're not being overcharged. This is where AI and data can make a meaningful difference. Whether it's improving billing accuracy, delivering faster customer service, or creating more frictionless customer experiences, the opportunity is to make energy feel easier, clearer, and less frustrating. The goal isn't to remove the human touch, but to use technology where it can genuinely improve speed, accessibility, and trust.
