Flo Energy welcomes the Energy Market Authority (EMA)’s move to strengthen consumer protections for households in the open electricity market. From 19 June 2026, the updated rules give households greater flexibility around auto-renewed electricity contracts, including clearer renewal reminders and a longer window to cancel without early termination fees. For us, a fair and democratised energy market starts with informed choice. That means transparent pricing, clear contract terms, and communication that helps consumers understand what they are signing up for. As Flo prepares to enter Singapore’s residential electricity market with renewable electricity plans for households, our focus remains on making energy choices simpler, clearer, and more aligned with how consumers live and what they value.
