On ANZAC Day, we pause to remember those who have served our country and reflect on the responsibility to support them beyond their service. Through the Open Door Initiative, Flinders is committed to improving outcomes for veterans and their families. The initiative brings together research, policy, and community engagement to address key challenges including transition to civilian life, mental health, and social inclusion. By working alongside veterans, families, service providers and government, this work aims to strengthen understanding, inform better systems of support, and contribute to long-term wellbeing across the veteran community. Lest we forget.
