We love seeing our businesses' products become part of the spaces that bring communities together. Laminex New Zealand's Melteca® panels feature proudly in Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga in Hāwera, South Taranaki. This vibrant hub brings together a library, visitor centre, café and art gallery all under one roof. Inside, Melteca Aged Ash features prominently in the clerestory ceiling and built-in cabinetry chosen for the colour and warmth it brings to the space. “These long-lasting surfaces like Melteca can withstand constant use, people bumping against them,” says Daniel Thompson, Project Architect at Warren and Mahoney. “It’s a bold, tough building, and the Laminex products reflect that.” Produced in New Zealand at Laminex’s Hamilton manufacturing plant, the Melteca® range is Eco Choice Aotearoa certified and supported by multiple Environmental Product Declarations. “Melteca is a great example of what high‑quality, locally made materials can achieve. Seeing it help shape a community space like this is something we are incredibly proud to be part of at Laminex,” says Laminex NZ GM Rachel Silcock.
