From the Beehive to Batts®! Today Hon Chris Penk MP, Minister for Building and Construction, took a tour of the Comfortech Building Performance Solutions® manufacturing facility, home of Pink® Batts® insulation.   The visit provided a chance for the Minister to see firsthand how this iconic kiwi product is made right here in New Zealand.   During his visit, the Minister toured the site alongside General Manager Anthony Stone, National Manufacturing Manager Murray Inwood, Chief Executive Fletcher Building Light Building Products Division Hamish McBeath and Fletcher Building Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Christian May, getting a firsthand look at our production process and the innovation behind it.   The team also took the time to meet some of the people who make it all happen - including Patrick Teisina, one of the business' Melter Operators who has recently celebrated an incredible 50 years of service.
