A crisp two-degree start didn’t deter 120 customers from gathering at PlaceMakers Riccarton to attend a trade breakfast alongside Prime Minister, The Rt. Hon. Christopher Luxon on Friday. Joined by National list MP Nancy Lu and Ilam MP Hamish Campbell, the Prime Minister gave a brief speech to the customers, who were invited by PlaceMakers Account Managers from across the city. He then took questions on issues affecting the construction sector, before chatting to the crowd one-on-one over bacon butties and coffee. Christchurch Hub Manager Dale King, who oversees the city’s four PlaceMakers branches, said it was the first time a sitting Prime Minister had attended such an event. "I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to see the Prime Minister engaging with our customers on the issues that matter to them - including the opening of the new One New Zealand Stadium!"
