We are proud to share that our Chairman, Tony Burgess, has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the Australia Day 2026 Honours List. This honour acknowledges his distinguished service to business, to tertiary education, to philanthropic corporate governance and benefaction, and to the arts—a reflection of his enduring commitment to strengthening Australia’s corporate, educational, and cultural landscape. Reflecting on the recognition, Tony shared: “Australia is a great nation and I think we all have a responsibility to contribute more broadly to the community to help maintain the fabric of our society. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to make a modest contribution to the broader community in a number of areas in which I have a keen interest. To be honoured for that contribution is very humbling.” We congratulate him on this well‑deserved recognition and celebrate the impact of his contribution across many sectors.
