Before #MaaS for Italy, building a multimodal mobility app meant negotiating separately with dozens of transport operators across the country, each with different data formats and no shared standards. The #DSRM changed that. Italy's national data platform 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁, aligned with European standards #NeTEx and #SIRI. Active since 2023, it is the infrastructure layer that MaaS for Italy leaves behind when the pilot closes. The white paper on the programme has just been published. Nearly 950,000 trips, 13 territories, 14 apps. The numbers are above target, but the harder challenge, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗦 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, is still open. #MaaS #MobilityAsAService #UrbanMobility #DigitalTransformation #TransportPolicy #SmartMobility #OpenData
