Making the everyday extraordinary by creating an inclusive workplace is one of Fiskars Group’s sustainability commitments, and it starts with the everyday actions we all take. This week, we brought our Group Functions teams together for two interactive sessions on inclusion, one for managers and one for all employees. The discussions focused on what inclusion means in practice and how each of us can contribute to a more inclusive environment through small, intentional actions. We explored topics such as inclusive language and how to speak up when something does not feel right. Because most exclusion is not intentional, building awareness and confidence to act in the moment is key. The great level of engagement is what really stood out. Honest conversations, shared experiences, and practical examples brought the topic to life and made it clear that inclusion is a joint effort that lives in everyday interactions.
