FireFly Metals recently hosted the annual GAC–MAC (Geological Association of Canada and Mineralogical Association of Canada / Association Minéralogique du Canada) field trip: “Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) Deposits of Newfoundland” VP Exploration Crispin Pike led the morning session, visiting several outcrops around the Baie Verte Peninsula, including areas within the Green Bay Project. Chief Geologist Juan Gutierrez hosted the Ming VMS session at the Ming Mine and the FireFly core facility. The field trip consisted of 25 participants from across Canada and internationally who were highly impressed with the geology of the Baie Verte Peninsula and the Ming deposit.
