🎓 FIRE Alumni Spotlight | From Bricks to Breakthroughs My journey with refractories started at ENSIL-ENSCI Limoges, where the FIRE - Federation for International Refractory Research & Education program opened the door to international research. What seemed like simple bricks revealed a world of complexity and innovation. With the guidance of Professor Marc Huger, I joined Seoul National University (South Korea), collaborating with Professor Prof. In-Ho Jung on refractory thermodynamics. This experience fueled my passion and led me to a PhD within the CESAREF network at the Institute of Mineral Engineering / Institut für Gesteinshüttenkunde (GHI) - RWTH Aachen University, alongside Calderys. Through CESAREF, I became part of a global community shaping the future of refractories.
