We're thrilled to welcome Katrina Groth, Ph.D to the FRA Global Foundation Symposium 2026 as a featured speaker. Dr. Groth is a Professor and Director of Reliability Engineering at the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering— and one of the foremost experts in the world on hydrogen safety and risk assessment. She invented the DOE's HyRAM toolkit, a quantitative risk assessment framework for hydrogen systems that is used by engineers worldwide and has directly shaped NFPA 2 and international safety standards. Her work has been cited over 7,000 times, and she holds 2 patents. Before joining UMD, she served as a Principal R&D Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories. As hydrogen emerges as a critical piece of the global energy puzzle, understanding its risks isn't optional — it's essential. Dr. Groth is one of the people writing that playbook, and we can't wait to hear her perspective in Cambridge. 📍Cambridge, Maryland | September 21-24, 2026 ⏰Early bird pricing closes June 29th — register before rates go up.
