Back from an incredible week being part of this U.S. business delegation between New York and Las Vegas — and still a little jet-lagged, but mostly grateful. From Monday through Wednesday in New York, then on to Las Vegas until Friday, we had two half-day conferences to present DGS GmbH, a full calendar of B2B meetings and more conversations with the US creative industries than I could have hoped for. The days were long. The evenings with this group were longer — and easily the best part. A huge thank you to the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. – GACC New York & AHK USA – San Francisco teams who made it all work so seamlessly: Sarah Braun-Herr and Peter Schumpp in New York, and Preston Locher and Luc Schwammberger in San Francisco. The quality of the meetings they lined up, and the care they put into every detail, is the reason for already confirmed deals and a lot of further real opportunities. And what a group to travel with: Natalia Semiletopulo, Dominik Lindemann, Christian Doll, Oskar von Burkersroda, Raphael Michel, Christian Seidenstücker, Patrik Mertens, Melanie Brombacher, Michael Brombacher and Patrik Theisen. Smart, curious, generous with ideas — the kind of connections that outlast a single trip. Finally, a sincere thank you to Frank Fischer at the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie for making this trip possible. Initiatives like this genuinely open doors for German companies in building business abroad. #GACC #AHK #DGS #CreativeIndustries #GermanAmericanBusiness
