The Global State of RegTech 2026 Report released this week by RegTech Analyst partnered with Parker & Lawrence Research, highlights communications recordkeeping as one of the most persistent failure points in market conduct. Off-channel messaging, fragmented archives, and supervision that exists on paper but not in practice ā regulators have stopped accepting any of it. And yet only 14% of firms globally treat market conduct RegTech as a core part of their control environment. Most are still managing trade, comms, and reporting in three separate silos with three separate tools. The shift that's coming isn't about adding another monitoring layer.
