At Finborough School, education goes far beyond the classroom. Our Year 7 and Year 8 residential trips this week provided pupils with opportunities to step outside of their comfort zones to develop teamwork, communication and confidence through challenge and adventure. From bushcraft survival skills in Boughton Woods to climbing, zip lines and team-building in East Mersea, students embraced every experience with enthusiasm and determination. Experiences like these are invaluable in helping young people develop the character and soft skills that are increasingly sought after in the workplace, and vital for success in life beyond school. We are incredibly proud of how our pupils supported one another, embraced personal growth and represented Finborough throughout both residentials.
