The front lawn at Finborough played host to some excellent Pre-Prep football matches against Culford School this week, defined by fantastic displays of newly forming skills, boundless enthusiasm and some remarkable technical excellence for such a young age. Beyond the talent, the most noticeable highlight of the afternoon was the wonderful team effort and sheer enjoyment shared by competitors, staff and spectators. Friendly, yet competitive fixtures at a young age are such an important part of building character. Learning how to win, lose and learn from experience paves the way for success both on the pitch and in life.
