Project Case| FILMBASE Media Glass Helps Upgrade the Monster Wall at Daejeon Hanwha Life Insurance Ball Park In professional sports, the most memorable moments often come from the unexpected—a strange bounce, a defensive shift, or even a wall that seems to have a mind of its own. At the Daejeon Hanwha Life Insurance Ball Park in South Korea, a unique architectural feature known as the "Monster Wall" has become a legend. Originally a functional solution—an 8-meter high outfield wall designed to accommodate a double-decker bullpen—it quickly became a game-changing variable, influencing hits and earning a reputation as the team's "tenth outfielder." But the story didn't end there. The latest innovation transforms this structural icon into a dynamic digital canvas. FILMBASE was tasked with upgrading the "Monster Wall" without altering its structural integrity or imposing design. The Solution: We integrated our P20 Media Glass, covering approximately 210 square meters across the wall's core facade. The result is a seamless blend of architecture and technology. When the screen is off, the wall retains its pure, powerful aesthetic. When illuminated, it comes alive with synchronized visuals and atmospheric content, elevating the fan experience from passive viewing to active immersion. The Two Layers of Innovation: Zonal Reconstruction: The original double-decker bullpen design created the "Monster Wall" organically. Digital Upgrade: Our transparent display added a new dimension, turning a game-influencing structure into a content medium for emotion and engagement. This project sets a new benchmark for professional sports venues worldwide, demonstrating how transparent display technology can harmonize with complex architecture to balance aesthetics, functionality, and fan engagement. It’s not about creating a new icon; it's about giving an existing legend a powerful new voice. #FILMBASE #DigitalTransformation #SportsVenue #TransparentLED #MediaGlass #ArchitectureAndTech #StadiumExperience #ProAV #CaseStudy
