The cybersecurity industry has spent years focusing on protecting networks, endpoints, and applications. Yet some of the most sensitive information in an organization lives elsewhere: Documents, files, emails, contracts, reports, engineering drawings, HR records, and countless other forms of unstructured data. At Munich, e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress Events Series, our very own Gökhan AYDIN shared why unstructured data governance has become a critical pillar of enterprise security, compliance, and data governance strategies. As organizations accelerate AI adoption, strengthen regulatory compliance programs, and modernize their digital workplaces, understanding where sensitive content resides, who has access to it, and how it is being used is no longer optional. It was a pleasure connecting with industry leaders and exchanging perspectives on the growing importance of securing and governing unstructured data. A big thank you to everyone who joined the discussions and shared their insights.
