STL Temporary Exemptions for the St Andrews Golf Open (11 - 18 July 2027)   The Open Championship returns to St Andrews in July 2027, bringing a significant number of visitors to the area. To support accommodation demand, Fife Council is offering Short-Term Let (STL) Temporary Exemptions.   A temporary exemption allows the use of a property as a short-term let for a specific, time-limited period for the Golf Open 2027 without a full STL Licence.   Applications will be accepted between 15 June and 4 October 2026. It can take up to 6 months to determine applications, so we encourage you to apply early.   You can only operate as a STL when the exemption is granted.   If you hold a valid full STL licence, a temporary exemption is not required.   More information and apply online: https://lnkd.in/e7MHTrzm
