The players’ class action against FIFA explained – Part 8 *** Am I eligible for the players’ class action? *** This is one of the elements of the class action that is often misunderstood by players, parents, agents and lawyers. The nationality of the male or female player does not really matter. Any professional footballer who has played in the European Union or the UK at any point between 2002 and the present day is eligible, regardless of their nationality. It doesn't matter whether you are from Japan, Brazil, Senegal or Australia. The territory in which you play or have played takes precedence over nationality. In the agent's words, all passports are eligible. Your participation will be kept confidential. Your data will not be shared with FIFA, national associations or your club. Join the class action via the Justice For Players website.
