🚗 𝗕𝗠𝗪 𝗶𝗫𝟯 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗲 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲 – 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 Over the past weeks, we initiated our benchmarking program on the all‑new 𝗕𝗠𝗪 𝗶𝗫𝟯 (𝗡𝗔𝟱) one of the first vehicles available based on BMW's dedicated 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗲 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝗩 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺. The vehicle is already undergoing 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱, 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀, enabling early, data‑driven insights. In parallel, key electric powertrain components are being 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 benchmark at our 𝗙𝗘𝗩´𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻, 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆. Our goal: to understand BMW's next‑generation EV technology from both a performance and cost perspective. The iX3 introduces 𝗕𝗠𝗪'𝘀 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗩 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, combining: → New cylindrical battery cells → Up to 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗪 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 → Dual‑motor AWD layout with rear EESM and front ASM Additional highlights include bidirectional charging functions 𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗩𝟮𝗟, 𝗩𝟮𝗛, 𝗩𝟮𝗚) and a zonal E/E architecture with four high‑performance controllers, further underlining the system‑level innovation of the Neue Klasse.
