Major Milestone for Ferro Duo – Approval of the Thermal Processing Facility as an Extension to the SCM Plant in Duisburg Yesterday, we officially received approval from the Düsseldorf District Government for the expansion of our Duisburg site — including the construction and operation of a new thermal processing facility as an extension to the SCM plant, as well as the expansion of our material catalogue to include natural minerals such as clay and loam. This approval represents a major step forward in the strategic development of Ferro Duo and sends a strong signal for innovation, industrial value creation, and sustainable growth in Duisburg. The project is the result of intensive work, clear vision, and exceptionally professional collaboration between all parties involved. My sincere thanks go to our team, our partners, and the responsible authorities for their constructive and solution-oriented support throughout the entire approval process. For me personally, as Founder of Ferro Duo, this approval also marks the successful completion of a key project phase. After extensive development, planning, and permitting work, the projects are now transitioning into the operational phase — an important next step for the continued growth of our company and our Duisburg operations. We are looking forward to implementing the next stage of Ferro Duo’s development together.
