Women’s health is no longer a peripheral workplace issue. It is a core driver of workforce performance, productivity and long-term organisational success. A new [w]Health Employer Index from Kearney highlights growing momentum, but progress remains fragmented and uneven. Across industries, 65% of employers demonstrate mature action on women’s health, but efforts are still isolated rather than embedded across workforce strategy. There remains a gap between employer intent and employee experience. This is reflected in the 70% of workplaces reporting lost productivity linked to women’s health, highlighting how inconsistent support, communication, and access to resources continue to limit impact despite growing investment in benefits and wellbeing. Addressing this gap requires more integrated, employee‑centred approaches. We are proud that the report highlights Ferring’s Building Families at Ferring programme as an example of progress, showing how equal parental-leave policies and family-building support can help embed women-centric care in the workplace. We recognise the importance of embedding women’s health across the full employee journey, and we remain committed to strengthening workplace support and advancing meaningful progress.
