How can collaboration help build a more sustainable future for hazelnuts? The first-ever Sustainable Hazelnut Summit, hosted by Ferrero Fındık in collaboration with the Sustainability Academy Türkiye, brought together nearly 180 stakeholders from across the hazelnut value chain — including government ministries, international institutions, the private sector, hazelnut producers, academia, media, retail and NGOs. The summit provided a platform to discuss key challenges and opportunities for the sector, with a focus on advancing good agricultural and social practices for a more sustainable hazelnut future. It also underlined the importance of shared responsibility in strengthening the hazelnut ecosystem and creating long-term value for farmers, communities and the wider sector. A key moment was the participation of hazelnut producers involved in the Ferrero Farming Values program, who shared first-hand perspectives on how sustainable practices can support productivity and resilience in the field.
